Who can be a member?
Membership shall be limited to individuals with the following qualifications:
a) Has academic training in Social Work;
b) Duly registered as a professional Social Worker in the Professional Regulations Commission;
c) Engaged in or primarily concerned with organized social work activity;
d) Has not been convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude or terminated in his/her employment due to any of the following:
serious misconduct or willful disobedience of his/her employer or representative in connection with his/her work;

gross habitual neglect of official duties;

fraud or willful breach of trust reposed in him by his employer or duly authorized representative;

commission of an offense against the person of his employer or any immediate member of his family or duly authorized representative; and
-
other analogous causes.
Here are the steps to become a Member.
Step 1.
Download the Membership Form. Print it and fill it out and scan them as pdf.
Step 2.
New Members: Php 1,400

Renewing Members: Php 600.00

Inactive Members: Php 1400
(non-payment of annual dues, two years or more)

Step 3.
For the online application, you will need to upload the following:

A digital image (JPG or PNG) of your PRC license, showing both the front and back. If a PRC license is not available, please provide a digital image of the front and back of a government-issued ID such as a Driver's License, SSS ID, or UMID, others.

A 2x2 passport photo with a white background, saved as a JPG or PNG.

A JPG or PNG image of your payment receipt from Gcash.

A PDF scan of your completed Membership Form.
These documents are required to be uploaded to the online form.

Step 4.
PASWI Pampanga Chapter to prepare transmittal email to PASWI National regarding Application forms and deposit of fees and coordinate processing of ID.
Step 5.
Arrival of PASWI Member ID and turnover to member applicant.
Step 6.
Turnover/Submit to PASWI PAMPANGA Chapter your original copy of your PASWI Membership Form.

Note: For members who did not pay their annual dues for Two (2) consecutive years or more are considered INACTIVE MEMBERS. Past unpaid annual dues shall be condoned and will only pay 1200 pesos as membership reactivation penalty.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY
1. Regular Member
A member of any local chapter who pays the membership fee and annual dues.
2. Lifetime Member
A member who pays the lifetime membership fee, provided that he/she possesses any of the following additional qualifications;

Is serving or has served as member of the National Board, or as officer of a local chapter with creditable performance;
-
Is a member holding in his/her agency, whether government or non-government, a position of Division Chief or its equivalent or higher position;
-
Is a member who has been awarded by a prestigious award-giving body for meritorious contributions in the field of social work or social welfare;
-
loyalty to and active support of the Association is a necessary;
-
positive attitude to the Association; and
-
as an Alumni of school of social work.

3. Honorary Member
An Individual granted by the Association honorary membership status because of outstanding contributions to the cause of Social Work and Social Welfare or the objectives of this Association
