Job Description
Purpose of the position:
Oversee the management of ING Learning Center including cleanliness and safety of the center.
Major responsibilities:
Oversee the management of ING Learning Center including cleanliness and safety of the center.
Coordinate with the Partners including ING Foundation, World Vision Development Foundation, BINHI Foundation, Local Government Units, Parents Association and other organizations regarding preparation, planning, and implementation of the project.
Ensure the smooth flow of tutorial classes and ING Learning Center activities both inside and outside the center.
Developed a monitoring and evaluation system (i.e. database) and implementation of program activities of the ING Learning Center of ING Bank Foundation.
Regularly monitors the children’s progress during the school term. Facilitates conduct of tutorial intervention such as provision of office and school supplies, daily snacks, and academic counseling to children in crisis.
Maintains sound relationship and secures proper feed-backing and communication with partner agencies such as ING Bank Foundation, schools, and Local Government Units.
Facilitates organization of parent community leaders and provide them with capacity-building activities and technical assistance to harness their leadership skills. Equips the organized parent association with skills in leadership and organizational development for it’s sustainability as an organized group.
Generates baseline data for the analysis of tutorial intervention that is useful for the sound decision making and assessment of the project implementation.
Initiates consultative planning and feed backing with the volunteers, parents and other partners for the implementation of the project
Ensures quality implementation through regular and quality monitoring visits and periodic implementation reviews.
Keeps and maintains orderly and systematic filing procedures, ensuring that confidential papers are kept secured.
Process direct payments, cash advances and liquidations for the project expenses.
Prepares purchase request of the monthly honorarium of the volunteer learning facilitators, cash advances for the daily snacks, and other items needed in the learning center
Prepares reports by gathering and consolidating data, documents as when deemed necessary.
Prepares programs and power point presentations and any pertinent data as requested.
Consolidation of monthly, quarterly, year-end reports and other related reports (e.g. financial narrative report).
Writes letters and other forms of communications as well as document meetings and other activities.
Ensure safety of the students and in accordance to the Child Protection Policy both inside classroom and during ILC activities
Requirements:
Graduate of Education, Developmental Studies or related Social Sciences.
At least 2 years’ experience in education - related program/project management for government or NGO.
Experienced in working with local governments, line agencies, churches and other organizations
Experienced in facilitating digital education workshop and children activities.
Knowledge in Philippines education curriculum and classroom activities design
Experience of planning and building interactive digital platforms (including forums) for learning, information sharing and knowledge dissemination
Experience of creating and publishing social media content
Experience of working on large-scale projects involving several internal and external stakeholders
Experience of dovetailing social networking and digital content with real-life events, workshops and conferences
Excellent communications, networking, alliance building and facilitation skills.
Mastery of the Department of Education K-12 and Digital Education Program.
Expertise in operating MS office software and has the capacity to use technology in program management.
Willing to live in the municipality or primary impact area
